Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 25, 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to browser extensions and apps published by Mujahid (contact: contacttomujahid@gmail.com), including Auto Page Refresh and other extensions listed on the Chrome Web Store under our developer account.

1. Summary

Our Chrome extensions are designed to work on your device. We do not sell your personal data. Auto Page Refresh stores settings and optional refresh history locally in your browser.

2. Information we collect

Depending on the extension, the following may be stored locally on your device:

  • Extension preferences (for example refresh interval, options, per-page settings)
  • Optional local history/stats of page refreshes (URL and counts by day)
  • Scroll position used only to restore the page after a refresh (when enabled)

Auto Page Refresh does not require you to create an account and does not intentionally collect your name, email, or payment details inside the extension.

3. How we use information

  • To provide extension features you enable (auto refresh, timers, options)
  • To remember your preferences between sessions
  • To show optional local history/stats inside the extension

4. Optional network requests (macOS)

On macOS, Auto Page Refresh may optionally show a link to other apps by the same developer on the iPhone and iPad App Store. To do this, the extension may fetch:

  • A public promotional app list from GitHub Gist (app names and App Store links only)
  • App artwork from Apple’s iTunes lookup API (using the public App Store app ID only)

No personal data, browsing history, or refresh stats are sent in these requests. The extension works fully without opening these links.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell personal data. Auto Page Refresh does not send browsing history or refresh stats to our servers. If a future product uses a third-party service (for example hosting or analytics), that product’s page will describe it clearly.

6. Permissions

Chrome may show permission prompts (for example access to tabs, storage, alarms, notifications, or cache clearing). Those permissions are used only to deliver features described in the Chrome Web Store listing.

7. Children’s privacy

Our extensions are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Your choices

  • Change or clear settings inside the extension
  • Clear local history/stats using the extension controls (where available)
  • Uninstall the extension at any time from chrome://extensions

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised policy.
